Hot beverages such as haldi ka doodh (turmeric milk), chai (tea), or kaadha (concocted drinks) are popular immunity boosting drinks. However, one may not prefer consuming warm beverages during the summer season. This is the time to look for cooler healthy alternatives. 

Immunity boosting drinks

Try these drinks to revitalize and strengthen your body:

  1. Tomato drink: Vitamin C has excellent immunity-boosting abilities and tomatoes are a rich source of the same. To prepare this drink, take two tomatoes and blend them with 2 tbsp of honey and a pinch of salt. Pour it in a glass and drink it in your breakfast. 
  2. Kiwi strawberry shake: Apart from being delicious fruits, kiwis and strawberries are also known for their immense health benefits. To prepare this drink, take a kiwi and a few strawberries and blend them with a pinch of salt and 1 tbsp of honey. Pour and enjoy your shake.
  3. Mint watermelon: Watermelon is a great source of vitamin C. It is also refreshing which makes up for a revitalizing beverage ingredient. To prepare this drink, cut up half watermelon in small pieces. Blend it with a few mint leaves and 1 tbsp of honey. Then pour it in a glass, garnish it with mint leaves and serve. 
  4. Pumpkin seed juice: This juice will not only boost your immunity, but will also enhance your mental, bone, and prostate health. To prepare this drink, add 1 cup of pumpkin seeds in a blender along with ¼ cup of sweetened milk, a pinch of salt, and 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds. Blend the ingredients, pour it in a glass and drink. 
  5. Orange, carrot, apple smoothie: Apples, carrots, and oranges are a food source of vitamin C and thereby hold immunity-boosting properties. To prepare this drink, take 2 oranges, 2 apples, and one carrot. Blend the main ingredients with a pinch of salt, mint leaves, and 1 tbsp of honey. Pour it in a glass and enjoy.
