NEET, JEE, Class 12 Board Exams Updates: The CBSE 12th marking scheme and ISC evaluation criteria will be released soon. Supreme Court has asked CBSE and CISCE to submit their assessment criteria in two weeks. UP Board and Maharashtra HSC exam 2021 has been cancelled in line with CBSE and CISCE’s decision to cancel 12th board exam. Final exams for state Boards like Gujarat (GSEB), Madhya Pradesh (MP Board), Uttarakhand, Rajasthan (RBSE), and Goa have also been cancelled in view of students’ safety amid the coronavirus crisis. As per the latest update on JAC Board, a decision on 12th board exams have not been taken yet, although, Jharkhand board students want board exams to be conducted. A final decision on Karnataka SSLC, PUC Board exam 2021 is expected to be announced soon. In the wake of coronavirus infection spreading at an alarming rate, the aspirants of AIIMS PG entrance exam – INI CET 2021- have also been requesting the government to postpone INI CET 2021. Students have registered their protest on Twitter using #postponedINICET.

The Education Ministry will soon review the situation and decide on the remaining sessions of JEE Main 2021 and NEET UG 2021.

To evaluate the students of Karnataka 2nd PUC, the board will consider Class 10th and PUC 1st marks of the students. The Karnataka PUC result in the form of student gradation list will be released between June 25 and June 30.

CBSE Students Can Seek Mame Change In Certificates: Supreme Court

The Supreme Court of India today said CBSE bye-laws prohibiting students from changing their names in certificates is not valid. A three-judge bench of Justices AM Khanwilkar, BR Gavai, and Krishna Murari has asked the board to amend its laws and to allow students to apply for changing their names along with their parents’ names. 

“The identity of an individual is one of the most closely guarded areas of the constitutional scheme in India. Expression of identity is a protected element of freedom of expression under the Constitution,” The Supreme Court verdict said.
