Lupin shares gain 2.67% as Sensex rises – Economic Times

Shares of Ltd. traded 2.67 per cent up at Rs 1229.0 at 10:05AM (IST) on Friday, even as BSE benchmark Sensex gained 371.53 points to 49321.29. The scrip had settled at Rs 1197.05 in the previous session.

The stock quoted a 52-week high and 52-week low of Rs 1236.3 and Rs 808.5, respectively.

As per BSE data, total traded volume on the counter till 10:05AM (IST) stood at 10:05AM shares with turnover at Rs 8.7 crore.

At the current price, the stock trades at 47.48 times its trailing 12-month earnings per share of Rs 25.26 per share and 2.13 times its price-to-book value, the exchange data showed.

A higher P/E ratio shows investors are willing to pay a higher share price today because of growth expectations in the future. Price-to-book value indicates the inherent value of a company and is the measure of the price that investors are ready to pay even for no growth in the business.

The Beta value of the stock, which measures its volatility in relation to the broader market, stood at 0.75.

Shareholding Details
Promoters held 46.86 per cent stake in the company as of 31-Mar-2021, while FIIs owned 17.87 per cent and DIIs 22.29 per cent.
